The Kid Icarus Project was started several years back by long time members of The Papers, Clint and Ian. Mike (formerly of Truffula Tree) was added to lay down the back beat. Klint Killion came along and added a fiddle to fill up the gaps. The resulting sound turned out pretty great! 

We struggled looking for a category for our sound, and eventually settled on Americana, based on our acoustic set up and fiddle, etc... but don't let it fool you - we get loud. and crazy. and play everything from Patsy Cline to Snoop Dogg as well as a huge library of our own originals.

KIP books everything from standard venues to parties and weddings. The guys' outgoing personalities make shows interactive and fun.
