Stefan Cotter was born in 1986 in Morgantown, WV. He has been playing music since 1995 when his father handed him a trumpet and taught him to read music. Since receiving his first guitar in 1998 he has been playing in bands since 2000. He studied Classical/Jazz Guitar Performance at West Virginia University for 6 years before moving to Tyler, TX in 2010.

In Texas, he performs at local / regional rock venues, coffee shops, and wineries. Anywhere he has a guitar and a (not necessarily needed) microphone, he is guaranteed to bring an entertaining collection of covers and originals.
